
Hey guys I’m back! Sorry I disappeared for nearly a month, I had all these exams and then I had a terrible flu that lasted two weeks :( I’m okay now but argh, I haven’t made any progress weight-loss wise but I’m ready to get back on track! I’m going to start jogging tomorrow :)

Amazing, amazing book. It explains so much on why it’s taking me so long to lose all this weight. In a nutshell: this book explains why eating bread, bagels, donuts, cupcakes, all that beautiful wheat + gluten stuff is a vicious weight gaining cycle.
It gets digested almost immediately, enters the bloodstream in our brain, binds itself to the morphine receptor or whatever it’s called and gives us that ‘high’ similar to abusing drugs. We become addicted to these foods and have uncontrolled desires for them constantly - it’s probably the reason why we can never stop at two slices of bread. If you can then you are a saint LOL. Thank you Tabenaide for the recommendation! I’m going to try my best to be gluten-free from now on!
